Dear Jaggard Families,
If you haven’t registered to attend Math Night yet, well you are in luck. The deadline to register was extended until the end of the day today (10/18).
Information about our Halloween parade is attached below. Please review it for details on the parade and costume expectations.
I’m also excited to share that we will be holding a Veterans Day assembly at school on Veterans Day, November 11th. The freedoms we enjoy, including the freedom to learn in a safe school, exist because of our veterans. These occasions let students connect what they learn in class to real life, and it’s important that they understand the impact these individuals have had on our country. Taking time to honor them teaches our students gratitude, respect, and the value of service to others. All core values that we work on each day at Jaggard.
We are allowing each family to invite one veteran to join us for the ceremony. If your family is like mine, you have many veterans to honor, and I would love to invite them all, but our space is limited. Please complete the attached form and return it by November 4th. The assembly will begin at 1:10, and we ask that all veterans arrive between 12:45 and 1:00. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Lastly, watch for more information this Tuesday about November school conferences.
Soar High!
Rob Fox
