Services of a Counselor
A school counselor is a person who is focused on helping all students achieve their personal best. A school counselor is also a resource person for teachers, parents, school administrators, and community. We are a resource to all who need help in a variety of different areas concerning healthy growth and development. We may also act as a liaison or bridge to agencies and referrals. A counselor is an integral worker within our school system because they interact with everyone. Our primary concern is for the welfare of our students. Students can be seen individually, small group, and large group situations. Many issues such as improvement of: self- concept, peer relationships, learning problems, and organizational skills are all part of our curriculum. A counselor is your child's advocate.
